Choosing the right Lutron system

Lutron HomeWorks

Lutron RadioRA 3
A wireless system that suits condos, renovations and smaller homes, with elegant keypads and no need to rewire. It can be expanded room by room.
How we decide
We look at the size of the home, the construction stage, the keypad finishes your designer wants and the budget, then recommend one system in writing.
Motorized shades and hurricane-season glass
South Florida light and impact glass bring their own considerations. We plan shading with the window schedule, not after it.
Heat and glare
Solar shade fabrics reduce glare and heat on the water and west-facing elevations while keeping the view.
Impact glass and pockets
Shade pockets, mounting depth and motor wiring are planned around impact windows and hurricane shutters early in the drawings.
Schedules and storms
Shades can follow the sun automatically, and close or open together with one button when you leave the house.
Working with interior designers
Keypads are part of the interior. We coordinate them with your elevations and palette.
Keypads and finishes
Palladiom and other Lutron keypads in finishes chosen with your designer, with engraving that makes sense to the family.

HomeWorks is Lutron’s flagship for large and custom homes with the widest design options. RadioRA 3 is a wireless system that suits condos, renovations and smaller homes.
Can Lutron be added to an existing home without rewiring?
Often yes. RadioRA 3 and wireless shades are designed for retrofit, and we confirm what is possible after a site visit.
Do motorized shades work with impact windows?
Yes. We plan mounting, pockets and wiring around impact glass and shutters, ideally while the window schedule is being finalized.
Does Lutron integrate with Control4 and Savant?
Yes. Lutron lighting and shades integrate with both, and we program the integration in-house.
Who installs the line-voltage dimmers?
We design and program the system. Line-voltage work is performed by licensed electrical contractor partners, with permits as required.
